We are working with a well‑established organisation that is looking to recruit a Workload Resource Planner to support the effective coordination of field and office‑based teams.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised individual with strong analytical skills to play a key role in ensuring resources are effectively planned and aligned with business demands.
The Role
As a Workload Resource Planner, you will be responsible for managing and optimising resource allocation to ensure operational efficiency and service delivery targets are met.
Key Responsibilities
* Scheduling rotas and managing resource allocation for both office and field‑based teams.
* Monitoring and optimising workload planning to maximise efficiency.
* Reviewing and adjusting resource requirements in line with changing business demands.
* Identifying resource gaps and implementing solutions to address them.
* Utilising planning systems and platforms to manage daily operations.
* Managing and releasing engineer capacity to third‑party clients via supplier portals.
* Analysing reports to align workload demand with available resource.
* Communicating effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
* Supporting with general administrative duties across multiple systems.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience using automated scheduling or workforce planning systems.
* Experience working with data, reporting, and analysis.
* Strong organisational skills with experience in diary or resource management.
* Excellent communication skills across multiple channels.
* Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel (intermediate level or above).
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
Hours & Salary
Monday to Friday - 39.5 hours per week. Temporary ongoing. 20 days holiday plus banks. Parking on site.
