Are you able to operate at a Principal or Lead Engineer level within a complex, multi-disciplinary team? Do you have proven experience delivering detailed electrical designs for both AC and DC systems? Are you confident managing design teams and mentoring engineers across electrical scopes?
The Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Lead to provide senior technical leadership and project delivery support. The ideal candidate will have expertise across electrical systems design and be capable of guiding teams through complex engineering scopes with minimal supervision.
Location: Warrington, hybrid
Your Duties and Responsibilities will be:
* Serve as a Principal or Lead Engineer, overseeing electrical design activities and technical deliverables.
* Provide leadership in the design and specification of:
o Medium and Low Voltage Alternating Current (AC) Systems
o Direct Current (DC) Systems including Battery and UPS Systems
o Auxiliary Electrical Systems: Grounding, Lightning Protection, Lighting, Communications
o Metering & Protection Systems
o Electrical Physical Design & Layout
o Electrical Equipment & Hardware Selection
o Control Systems & Instrumentation
o Fire Protection Systems
o Offer guidance and review support for cable raceway design, cable sizing, and routing.
Manage teams to deliver:
* Non-1E design and specifications
* Non-1E commercial equipment and packaged systems
* Commercial instrumentation and cabling strategies
You will have the following experience and qualifications:
* ETAP
* NFPA 70 and NFPA 804
* IEEE Standards (e.g., IEEE 141, IEEE 242)
* IPCEA (ICEA)
* NEMA standards
