Job Title: Credit Controller (Temp to Perm)

Salary: £12.21 - £13.00
About the Role:
We are working with a well-established business in Leicester that is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join their finance team. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity, ideal for someone who is confident managing end-to-end credit control and has proven experience using Xero accounting software.
You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the credit control function, working closely with both customers and colleagues to maintain strong financial processes and resolve queries efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing the company’s sales ledger and monitoring overdue accounts
Chasing outstanding debt by phone and email in a professional manner
Allocating incoming payments and reconciling accounts
Producing debtor reports and liaising with management regarding aged debt
Handling customer queries and providing excellent service at all times
Working closely with the wider finance team to improve processes
Ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulationsSkills and Experience Required:
Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar finance role
Hands-on experience with Xero is essential
Strong communication and negotiation skills
High attention to detail and accuracy in financial administration
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good working knowledge of MS Office, particularly ExcelWhat’s on Offer:
