Job Title: Model Risk Framework Lead, within Model Risk Governance & Control team

The Chief Risk Office function has Group-wide responsibility for the management and control of all credit, market, model, operational, enterprise, and liquidity risks. It also develops methods for risk measurement, frameworks, and fosters a strong risk culture across the bank.
Within Model Risk Management, the Governance and Control team is responsible for designing group-level frameworks, assessing portfolio model risk, and managing model risk governance forums and processes. As Model Risk Framework Lead, you will ensure that the Model Risk framework is appropriate for the bank.

Your key responsibilities
* Ensure Policy, Procedure, and related documents meet regulatory standards, align with best practices, and comply with internal governance.
* Build relationships with stakeholders, including Model Developers and Model Users, to incorporate feedback and ensure practical decision-making.
* Represent the department in bank-wide governance forums and initiatives.
* Collaborate with stakeholders and IT to align processes and articulate controls.
* Support model risk initiatives, controls optimization, stakeholder training, and represent Model Risk in regulatory initiatives.
Your skills and experience
* Relevant professional experience in finance or consulting
* Understanding of risk management governance, especially model risk or modeling use
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of working independently and in teams
* Ability to drive initiatives and design controls
