Remedy Tutors are looking for Outreach experienced tutors and teachers who are seeking flexible and rewarding work with a flexible schedule in Bromley and surrounding areas.
This Outreach tutor role involves:
* Working with children, including those with SEN, providing face-to-face support at their homes or at local centres such as town halls, libraries, or community centres;
* Planning lessons and resources tailored to the students' needs, covering core subjects or life skills;
* Delivering engaging sessions to students;
* Applying skills to boost pupils' confidence;
* Managing children with challenging behaviour;
* Tracking students' learning progress to help them achieve their desired outcomes and providing monthly reports;
* Potentially engaging in outdoor activities, such as learning about plants and nature with the students;
* Using visuals to communicate effectively when needed.
The work is scheduled around your availability.
Experience working with students and a valid enhanced child workforce DBS are both essential.
