Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic person who aspires to develop their experience at middle leadership level. We currently teach a KS3 Computing curriculum in line with the National Curriculum, and we offer Computer Science and Business Studies at GCSE with the potential to add an ICT qualification to the suite in the future. The successful candidate will be an expert in their field and will be excited to take our provision in this area to the next level, leading on the identification and development of strategies to ensure that teaching across the department is of the highest quality and that student outcomes meet or exceed expectations. The successful candidate will be given excellent opportunities for leadership development and preparation for senior leadership, including support for applications to nationally accredited schemes such as the NPQ programme.
An additional TLR for whole school responsibility is available for the right candidate who has more to offer across the school. This will be based on the strengths of the successful candidate.
