At Junior Adventures Group, we are looking for a happy, enthusiastic, and passionate Club Manager who is committed to developing and nurturing other team members, as well as our children. You'd be joining the UK's leading provider of children's wraparound care in the UK, offering a range of roles in our Breakfast, After School, and Holiday Clubs!
So, what does it mean to be a JAG Club Manager? The key responsibilities include:
* Leading a passionate team who have the same goals as you, managing, directing, and supporting staff in their delivery of a safe and effective programme.
* Ensuring effective communication between your venue, your team, parents, the school or host leisure centre, and Central Operations.
* Providing inclusive, fun, and engaging care for our children while inspiring them to explore their interests.
* Planning, supervising, and delivering planned activities with structure and enthusiasm, including a wide range of activities such as multi-sports, games, arts & crafts, downtime, and structured play.
* Implementing protocols and policies with team members to ensure the children in our care are safe and well looked after.
* Being people-focused, warm, honest, and genuine, and wanting to create unexpected experiences which make people go 'WOW!'
We are looking for someone with leadership experience in a childcare setting or a level 3 Childcare Qualification. The ideal candidate will have management and team leading experience and be able to demonstrate a real passion for working with children. SEN experience is desirable but not essential for this role.
Location: St Paul's CofE Junior School, Oxford Road, Wokingham, Berkshire RG41 2YJ. Hours: 22.5 hours per week during term time, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week during school holidays. Pay: up to £14.50 per hour. We offer parking onsite or a 5-minute walk from Wokingham Train Station & Bus Station. The successful candidate will be put forward for Paediatric First Aid Qualification, paid for by us if not already qualified.
