Project Leader – Product Development
Make a real impact on patient care and the future of healthcare products
Are you driven, curious, and ready to take ownership of meaningful projects from concept to launch?
We’re looking for a proactive Project Leader to join our Product Development team and help shape innovative solutions that genuinely improve patients’ lives.
Reporting to the Head of Product Development, you’ll play a pivotal role in bringing new ideas to life — from early exploration and supplier engagement through to development, delivery, and post‑launch support. This is a hands‑on, varied role where no two days look the same, and your contribution will directly influence the quality of care people receive.
Why Optimum Medical?
We’re building the most people-focused healthcare company in the industry. We want to be the service and brand that people turn to whenever they need a medical device — from healthcare lubricants and urology products, to transforming healthcare partnerships through service excellence.
We never sit still. Our culture is fast-paced, creative, and full of energy. We live by our mantra: Constantly Create Better
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll take full responsibility for multiple projects, guiding them through every stage of the development journey. Your work will include:
* Leading and driving multiple product development projects
* Identifying market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to shape future product pipelines
* Championing innovation by exploring new ideas and concepts
* Analysing product feedback and post‑market insights
* Conducting early‑stage supplier discussions and supporting sourcing activities
* Building and nurturing strong supplier relationships
* Assisting with project scheduling, planning, and design control
* Managing deadlines and driving solutions to keep projects on track
* Coordinating project meetings and keeping stakeholders aligned with clear actions and updates
* Maintaining thorough project documentation and presenting progress reports
* Identifying risks and supporting mitigation strategies
* Supporting quality assurance to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards
* Monitoring project budgets and ensuring financial control
* Contributing to any additional tasks that support the team’s success
Why This Role Matters
Every project you lead has the potential to improve patient outcomes and enhance the lives of caregivers. Your work will directly influence the development of products that make a real difference in healthcare settings.
