Role profile: To provide high quality supervision of direct labour and subcontract workforce on the Northamptonshire Street Lighting PFI contract.
What you'll be doing
Together with accountability for operational performance of workforce and supply chain, the successful candidate for this role will:
1. Have Line Manager responsibility for direct labour workforce;
2. Take an uncompromising approach to Zero Harm and Right First Time;
3. Ensure workforce is effectively resourced;
4. Set the team to work with effective briefings and stand down sessions;
5. Engage with supply chain partners and ensure safe and effective
deployment on the network;
6. Provide visible on site leadership and carry out regular safety and quality inspections;
7. Input into weekly programme and monitor progress against targets and KPIs;
8. Validation of labour and plant records to the project cost control procedure.
Who we're looking for
The following qualities and experience are essential:
9. Experienced in the Supervision of Operational teams;
10. Experience of works in a live highway environment;
11. Solution orientated individual;
12. SSSTS;
13. Full UK Driving licence.
The following qualities and experience are desirable:
14. HEA QS/AO;
15. Traffic Management 12D M6/M7.
