Location: High Holborn, London (with regular travel across London)
We’re looking for a talented Account Manager to join our Dual Management team at Abbatt, covering a 12-month maternity leave.
This role is ideal for someone with Area Manager experience in retail or hospitality, especially if you are experienced in managing multiple sites, leading teams with energy and empathy, and providing excellent service to clients and internal teams.
About the Role
As part of our Dual Management division, you’ll manage on-site staff across several residential buildings in London. Your responsibilities include recruitment, onboarding, support, employee relations, and ensuring client satisfaction.
You’ll work from our office in High Holborn but will regularly visit sites to support staff and meet clients. This role combines HR, operations, account management, and client services.
What You’ll Be Doing
Staff & Site Management
* Oversee staffing at multiple residential properties
* Conduct regular site visits to support staff and maintain morale
* Lead recruitment, inductions, training, and appraisals
* Manage employee relations and retention strategies
* Perform Health & Safety checks and ensure compliance
Client Relationship Management
* Serve as the main contact for your client portfolio
* Attend service review meetings and prepare performance reports
* Resolve service issues promptly and implement improvements
Operational & Project Support
* Implement and oversee staffing contracts
* Manage rotas to ensure site coverage, especially during peak times
* Collaborate with internal recruitment teams to source talent
* Support temporary staffing needs
* Assist with Payroll and Invoicing
Business Development & Representation
* Represent Abbatt Dual Management at networking and client events
* Promote our services to new and existing contacts
What We’re Looking For
* Experience managing multiple sites with people management skills, ideally from retail or hospitality backgrounds
* A natural relationship-builder passionate about service excellence
* Ability to work independently and manage your schedule
* Some knowledge of HR, employee relations, or Health & Safety (training provided)
* Organized, confident, and an effective communicator
* Familiarity with scheduling or HR software is a plus
