RSK Geosciences Environmental Consultant
RSK Geosciences, an RSK Group company, is recruiting an Environmental Consultant to join the team based in Derby, UK. This is a full-time, permanent position.
The Geosciences team delivers consultancy and design services to a wide range of external clients including engineers, house-builders, oil companies and local authorities. Responsibilities
* Production of environmental management plans including Pollution Prevention and Surface Water Management Plans for construction sites
* Auditing construction sites for compliance with Surface Water Management Plans
* Advising clients on meeting UK regulatory requirements, including the preparation of permits applications and exemptions
* Liaison with regulators including the Environment Agency / National Resources Wales
* Response / management of environmental incidents including fuel/oil spillage, silt discharges, and effluent discharges
Qualifications and Experience
* 5 to 10 years minimum experience in the environmental sector
* Ability to deliver projects and work within a multi-disciplinary consultancy
* Ability to work closely and confidently with clients and regulators
* Track record in managing time and resources effectively and within budget
* Full UK driving licence
