What to Expect
This role is responsible for delivering financial insight, control, and strategic decision support across Global Marketing, Brand, Communications, and Product Strategy. The successful candidate will ensure that investment decisions are financially sound, performance is well understood, and spend is aligned with corporate objectives.
This position plays a critical role in driving marketing ROI, supporting product lifecycle planning, and enabling data‑driven decision‑making across future product and brand strategy initiatives.
What You'll Do
1. Business Partnering & Strategic Influence
Act as finance partner to Global Marketing, Brand, PR/Comms and Product Strategy teams.
Provide clear insight into campaign effectiveness, ROI, market performance, and product‑related decisions.
Support leadership in evaluating brand investments, sponsorships, events, digital initiatives, and long‑term product planning.
Influence senior stakeholders to drive disciplined budget management and commercial outcomes.
2. Performance Reporting & Month-End
Own monthly reporting for relevant cost centres and strategic programmes.
Deliver accurate management accounts, commentary, and KPI reporting.
Lead responses to audit queries and ensure strong financial governance.
Track marketing spend, commitments, accruals and forecast accuracy.
3. Budgeting, Forecasting & Investment Planning
Coordinate budgeting and forecasting cycles for Global Marketing and Product Strategy.
Develop robust financial plans, challenge assumptions, and present consolidated results to senior leadership.
Support development of product lifecycle financials, market outlooks, and strategic business cases.
4. Controls, Processes & Continuous Improvement
Improve cost transparency, ROI measurement, and marketing Efficacy.
Strengthen processes around marketing approvals, agency spend, and product strategy governance.
Drive data accuracy and reporting improvements in collaboration with FP&A and Commercial teams.
5. Team Leadership
Supervise and mentor Finance Analyst supporting the function.
Ensure development of technical skills, commercial understanding, and stakeholder engagement capability.
What You'll Bring
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA).
Big 4 background advantageous due to analytical rigour and stakeholder engagement experience.
Strong financial planning, forecasting, and business partnering background.
Experience supporting Marketing, Commercial, Product or Brand environments preferred.
Strong communication and presentation skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Comfortable with large datasets, financial modelling, and ROI frameworks.
