Overview
Join our growing veterinary practice at Vets for Pets. We are an experienced 6-vet team led by practice owner and vet Helen, with supportive nursing and front-of-house teams. We emphasise team well-being with a garden space, wellbeing board, and two mental health first aiders. We are an RCVS accredited practice with Outstanding status for client service and for team and professional responsibility, and we are an approved veterinary nurse training practice.
Responsibilities
* Assist in a busy, supportive practice environment with a very experienced team to help days run smoothly.
* Provide veterinary care with 30-minute sick pet consults and allocated admin time to work up cases.
* Participate in a flexible rota with no OOH, Sundays or bank holidays.
* Maintain carefully managed diaries, including protected paid lunch breaks and admin time.
* Engage in case workups and high-quality client service; remote back-up on weekends if desired.
* Collaborate with a nursing team of 7 RVNs, an SVN, and a skilled front-of-house team.

Location
York, United Kingdom. The city offers history, outdoor opportunities, and convenient transport links, including proximity to the North Yorkshire coastline and four international airports.
