In your new role as a Maintenance Planner, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth scheduling of repairs and maintenance works across the Welwyn & Hatfield contract. Based in Welwyn Garden City, you’ll liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and operatives to coordinate appointments and ensure service level agreements are met. You’ll handle high volumes of calls and emails, using the system to manage schedules and instil confidence in residents—especially those who have experienced service failures.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Experience in social housing and repairs/maintenance
2. Proven background in scheduling/planning disrepairs, voids, orplex works
3. Strongmunication skills with operatives, subcontractors, and residents
4. Basic knowledge of building maintenance and task durations
5. Ability to prioritise and sequence works effectively
6. Excellent written English andputer literacy
7. Project management and stakeholdermunication skills
8. Passion for customer service and satisfaction
