1:1 Teaching Assistant – Year 6 Pupil

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Enfield is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 6 pupil on a full-time basis, starting immediately.
The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide tailored support, helping the pupil access learning, develop confidence, and achieve their full potential both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 support for a Year 6 pupil throughout the school day.
* Assist with classroom learning activities and interventions.
* Support the pupil's emotional, social, and behavioural development.
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff, parents, and external professionals where required.
* Help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Experience working with primary-aged children, preferably in Key Stage 2.
* A patient, caring, and proactive approach.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
* Experience supporting children with additional needs is desirable but not essential.
