Supply Teacher - Romford
Location: Romford, Greater London
Type: Supply / Cover teaching (Daily / Short‑term / Block)
Salary: £140‑£150 per day (depending on experience / subject)
About Us / The Role
We are seeking enthusiastic, flexible, and professional Supply Teachers to work across schools in the Romford area. You will cover planned absences, last‑minute staff sickness, or other staff release time. Assignments may vary in duration (one day, block, or ongoing).
You'll be joining a team committed to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning, and supporting continuity in students' education.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver lessons following provided plans, adapting to different classroom settings
Manage classroom behaviour and foster a supportive learning environment
Engage students, maintain consistency, and ensure progression
Record attendance, pupil progress, and other administrative tasks
Liaise with school staff as required
Person Specification / Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching (or comfortable stepping into different classes/subjects)
Strong classroom management skills
Ability to adapt quickly to varied school environments
Enhanced DBS check (on the Update Service or able to obtain)
Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
(Desirable) Experience in multiple key stages / subject specialism
