Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting furniture to retail stores located Nationwide including Ireland.
Responsibilities
- Drive delivery vans to transport goods to customers
- Perform heavy lifting of packages and goods as required
- Follow safe driving practices and traffic regulations at all times
- Assist in loading and unloading goods from the delivery vehicle
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the delivery van
* Communicate effectively with the warehouse team to ensure accurate and efficient deliveries
* Warehouse duties to include loading/offloading, stock take assistance and general tidying as required.
Qualifications
- Must have previous experience as a Delivery Driver in a similar role
- Valid commercial driving license is preferred
- Ability to drive and operate delivery vehicles safely
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with warehouse staff
- Capability to handle heavy lifting tasks efficiently
* Basic computer skills required
* Excellent customer care a necessity
* Must have a clean UK driving licence
* Must be able to work as part of a team
Hours Monday – Friday however flexibility in working hours is required.
