Position: Headteacher
As a Headteacher, you will promote a relentless focus on high-quality, creative learning, delivering our pupils' educational needs, maximising pupil achievement, and supporting their development.
You will have support from central services for Finance, Resourcing, HR, and IT, along with a network of supportive Headteachers from other schools and central school improvement support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Achieve outstanding outcomes for pupils and young people, reflecting their needs, abilities, and aptitudes.
* Create a safe environment that protects the welfare of pupils, young people, and staff.
* Meet all statutory requirements as defined by the DfE, Ofsted, and other external bodies, aiming for the highest inspection ratings.
* Lead a motivated staff group engaged in achieving excellence and committed to ongoing personal and professional development.
* Ensure the commercial success of the school through 100% occupancy, cost management, and growth plans.
* Implement effective strategic and operational planning, including self-evaluation and school improvement.
* Develop a shared vision aligned with the Options Autism strategy that inspires students, staff, and the community.
* Possess at least three years’ experience as a senior leader in mainstream or special educational needs schools.
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent.
* Demonstrate willingness to pursue personal and professional development.
* Provide clear leadership and vision.
* Understand that leadership encompasses pupil outcomes, staff motivation, safety, enrollment, cost management, regulatory compliance, and growth plans.
