Becoming Deputy Manager at SuperCare's first EBD/SEMH home means helping to shape its culture and standards from the ground up. The young people here are at risk of going missing, they self-harm, and they often talk about their past - sometimes sharing very difficult or unsettling experiences. They need encouragement with routines like eating, hygiene, and joining in activities. You'll support the Registered Manager in overseeing the home while also leading staff through these complex situations.
What You'll Do:
You'll combine management with frontline presence:

Supervise and support staff across shifts.
*
Step in for the Registered Manager when required.
*
Support children at risk of self-harm, missing-from-home, or exploitation.
*
Guide staff through safeguarding and difficult disclosures.
*
Oversee rotas, training, and development.
*
Maintain compliance and external relationships.
*
Drive young people to activities and appointments (full UK licence required).
What We're Looking For:
