Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Early Years Lead based in Great Horkesley. The Early Years Lead will oversee the planning and implementation of educational programs, ensure alignment with early years standards, and provide leadership to the teaching staff. Responsibilities include observing and supporting children’s learning and development, ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols, and fostering collaborative relationships with parents and caregivers. The role also involves supervising and mentoring staff to create a positive and enriching learning environment.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in early years education, child development, and curriculum planning
* Strong leadership, team management, and mentoring skills
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations, safeguarding, and early years policy compliance
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration abilities
* Adaptability, organizational skills, and attention to detail
* Relevant qualifications in early childhood education, such as Level 3 Early Years Educator or equivalent
* Experience in an early years setting is highly desirable
* Paediatric First Aid certification is advantageous
