FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Front End Developer to work for our client within the public sector. This is initially a 6-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role based in Leatherhead, Surrey.
Our client is looking for a Front End Developer who has experience with Angular 14+, JavaScript, CSS and HTML5.
Responsibilities
* Enhance and optimise performance, ensuring efficient running across devices and platforms
* Identify and resolve issues such as usability issues, across various browsers
* Collaborate with Back End developers and designers, implementing APIs to ensure smooth user experience
* Create clean and reusable code ensuring best practices and standards are met
* Keep updated with rising Front End technologies and tools
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Front End Developer
* Eligible for Security Clearance
* Expertise in Angular 14+, TypeScript, RxJS, JavaScript and AstroUXDS
* Skilled in CSS Grid/flexbox, HTML5/CSS3, Playwright and Cucumber
* Experienced in npm/nodeJS with general experience integrating open source npm packages to web-apps
* Experience in React, Vue, Svelte is beneficial
