Responsibilities
* Work in a dynamic team of five, supporting scientists to push the boundaries of cancer research.
* Drive the design, deployment, and maintenance of cluster computing systems, Linux kernels, and advanced storage solutions such as GPFS, Lustre, and Isilon.
* Collaborate closely with research teams to optimise workflow and data handling pipelines.
Qualifications
* Strong professional HPC experience.
* Hands‑on expertise with Slurm scheduling and high‑performance computing infrastructures.
* Experience with enterprise storage platforms and kernel optimisation is desirable.
* Academic qualifications are secondary to technical prowess.
Work Environment
Office in St Pancras, core hours 10am - 4pm, no on‑call demands.
