Job Description
Logistics Operative / Basildon / £14.55 per hour
Our client, a leading Aerospace and Defence manufacturer, are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join their Logistics Team. The successful candidate will perform a variety of tasks to support the efficient transition of materials through our hub, ensuring we meet business requirements and service level agreements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Pick and put away inventory accurately.
* Process incoming goods receipts.
* Conduct inventory checks.
* Pack deliverable items.
* Handle customer repair receipts.
* Maintain inventory accuracy and traceability.
* Delivering goods to different sites
Essential:
* Experience in logistics, retail, warehouse, or stock management.
* Proficiency with SAP or similar systems.
* Clean UK driving licence.
* SC Clearance
Desirable:
* Forklift and reach truck certification or inhouse experience
* Pallet stacker truck and MEWP certification.
* Previous Expereince within Aerospace or Defence
Skills:
* Computer literate.
* Organised with a neat work ethic.
* Manually dexterous.
* Physically fit and agile.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* UK National willing to undergo security vetting
This is a 6 month temporary contract with the potential to extend
Monday to Thursday 7.30pm to 3.30pm, 12.30pm finish on a Friday
