AECOM is seeking a proficient and experienced Information Manager (CDE Superuser) to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality and organisation of project-related information and contractual documents across various projects in the UK. A thorough understanding of Common Data Environment (CDE) systems is essential, along with exposure to large-scale construction projects.
Here's what you'll do
CDE Implementation and Management
1. Assist in the implementation and operation of the organisation’s CDE.
2. Set up new project standards and develop 'how-to' guides for new projects.
3. Manage day-to-day administrative tasks related to CDE, including invitations and workflow updates.
Training and Development
4. Provide training to internal and external project members on project-specific CDE systems and protocols.
5. Become the regional expert in CDE usage, offering training and support to new users.
6. Produce regional system usage reports for project teams and the System Manager.
Collaboration and Communication
7. Liaise with DCs and project teams to provide effective feedback & reports to steering & management teams.
8. Collaborate with internal and external team members to ensure efficient CDE utilisation and offer best practice advice.
Quality Assurance and Compliance
9. Manage incoming datasets on behalf of clients, ensuring compliance with protocols and standards.
10. Implement thorough QA/QC procedures on all transmitted information, ensuring compliance with project protocols.
11. Control project documentation across multiple simultaneous projects and maintain project record files.
Client and Stakeholder Interaction
12. Serve as the point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal management regarding project information auditing and sourcing.
13. Download and distribute formal and informal issues to internal teams and consultants.
Documentation Management
14. Review drawings, attach relevant comments, and submit them back onto project systems.
15. Manage essential project forms such as RFIs, correspondences, and site submittals.
16. Assist in maintaining the integrity of digital security systems to safeguard sensitive project information.
17. Monitor incoming project deliverables against MIDPs and produce reporting accordingly.
Qualifications
Here's what we're looking for
18. Extensive experience and strong knowledge of CDE (CDE Superuser).
19. Methodical approach to work with a keen attention to detail.
20. Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
21. Proficient in MS Office packages (SharePoint, Word, Excel, Access), Autodesk Forma, Aconex and basic understanding of AutoCAD/Revit, including PowerApps workflows.
22. Understanding of relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO19650, GDPR, etc.)
Experience & Qualifications
23. You will hold a suitable Information Profession qualification in information science, computer engineering, or related field to bachelor’s degree level or equivalent and/or will have experience at Practitioner Level (EO/HEO) of the Government Knowledge & Information Management (GKIM) Professional Skills Framework.
24. With a minimum of 3+ years’ experience in information management.
Must be able to obtain necessary security clearances required by the role.
