About the Role
The Senior Business Development Manager will develop and implement strategic sales initiatives to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and build strong relationships with customers and partners.
Responsibilities
* Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets in the UK
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities across residential and commercial solar sectors
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including installers, distributors, wholesalers, trade associations, and insurance providers
* Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to ensure sales strategies align with company objectives
* Provide market insights and feedback to inform product development and marketing campaigns
* Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market shifts to support strategic planning
* Deliver quarterly sales reports, updates, and performance analysis
Required Skills
* Proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven sales professional
* Strong background in closing partnership deals experience within the solar sector
* Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Knowledge of the solar energy market
* Experience working with distributors and wholesalers across multiple countries is advantageous
