Role
As a Corporate Partner within this nationally recognised Corporate team, you will take a leadership role in delivering complex and high-value corporate transactions, primarily across Scotland and the wider UK.
You will lead key client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on mergers and acquisitions, private equity deals, joint ventures and shareholder arrangements.
Alongside this, you will be tasked with mentoring other members of your team and work hard to build a cohesive, high-performing team, in a supportive and welcoming environment.
Additionally, you will contribute significantly to business development and strategic planning, helping grow the practice locally and nationally.
This role requires a commercially astute leader who can combine excellent technical expertise with strong client management skills.
Your Experience
* Have extensive experience in corporate law, ideally with a strong M&A focus.
* Proven ability to lead large and complex transactions independently while managing an ever-growing department.
* Demonstrable success in developing and managing long-term client relationships.
* Strong commercial awareness and the ability to provide practical, business-focused legal advice.
* Experience mentoring and leading teams, fostering professional development.
* Track record of contributing to business development and practice growth initiatives.
* Comfortable working collaboratively in a fast-paced and ambitious environment.
