Quantity Surveyor Overview:
You will be responsible for the commercial management of groundworks and civils projects from pre-construction through to final account, working closely with experienced operational and commercial teams.
Typical projects include:
* Residential developments (100500+ units)
* Large groundworks and infrastructure packages
* Project values typically £5m£30m+
Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities:
* Cost control, reporting and forecasting
* Measurement, valuations and variations
* Managing subcontractor procurement and accounts
* Preparing client applications and final accounts
* Working closely with site teams to protect margins
(Level of responsibility will reflect experience.)
Quantity Surveyor Requirements:
* Experience within groundworks, civils or infrastructure
* Background as an Assistant, Intermediate or Senior Quantity Surveyor
* Strong commercial awareness and cost control skills
* Confident working with drawings, budgets and subcontractors
* Ambitious and keen to progress within a growing business
