Noble Recruiting are currently recruiting a confident and experienced Health, Safety & Sustainability Manager to join our friendly and proactive Client in Brentwood, Essex.

Your responsibilities include:
* Drive implementation of Golden Thread Fire Delay (GTFD)’s Health, Safety & Environmental Sustainability strategies across the business.
* Work with the Operations Director to create and evolve policies, procedures, standards, guidance and systems for company operations.
* Provide expert advice to project teams and business on health, safety & environmental matters.
* Ensure the business operates in compliance with UK legislation, regulations, and company standards.
* Support preparation and maintenance of ISO certifications {ISOs 9001 (Quality), 14001 (Environmental), & 45001(H&S)} and provide required information to external consultants.
* Monitor contractor and project compliance with company systems.
* Maintain all H&S accreditations and compliance.
* Undertake periodic risk assessments of facilities (office, warehouse) and ensure all inspections/testing (electrical, fire, emergency systems, AC) are completed.
* Establish and review Safe Systems of Work (SSoW), site-specific risk assessments, Control of Substances
* Hazardous to Health (CoSHH) procedures, and Construction Phase Plans (CPPs) where relevant.
* Prepare, review, and monitor RAMS compliance across projects.
* Deliver safety briefings and in-house training to site operatives, embedding behavioural safety principles.
* Conduct health and safety site audits and complete client safety pack requests.
* Oversee environmental compliance across works, ensuring activities meet project environmental plans, legislation, and principal contractor requirements.
* Conduct site inspections to control environmental risks, including waste, pollution prevention, and material handling.
* Promote good environmental practices with site teams to minimise environmental impact.
* Define, track, and report on leading and lagging H&S & Environmental KPIs.
* Analyse performance data, audit results, and identify gaps to develop improvement plans.
* Work with Senior Leadership to continuously improve H, S&E performance, and sustainability outcomes.
* Investigate and resolve non-conformances in line with compliance requirements, ensuring records are maintained.
* Conduct quality and H&S site audits and document outcomes.
* Identify opportunities to improve the implementation and management of H&S and Environmental procedures.
* Maintain professional development via external training and seminars.

You will need:
·Confident and outgoing individual.
·Knowledge of working practices in respect of ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 standards and accreditations.
·Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
·Recent experience in a similar position.
·Comfortable working in a fast paced, high-pressure environment where accuracy is non-negotiable.
·Driver with own transport is essential due to the location of the Offices.
