A prestigious FTSE 100 Financial Services firm undergoing significant global expansion is seeking a driven Junior Category Manager to join their award-winning procurement team. This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement or buying professional with strong strategic sourcing experience looking to accelerate their career in a high-performing environment.
Role Overview:
As a Junior Category Manager, you will:
* Manage £50m–£200m in indirect spend across a variety of categories.
* Design and implement innovative sourcing strategies to drive cost efficiencies and operational improvements.
* Work closely with director-level stakeholders, gaining valuable mentorship while also challenging existing practices to enhance procurement performance.
* Enjoy opportunities for international travel across Europe, Asia, the Americas, Australasia, and Africa.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Proven success in developing and delivering strategic sourcing initiatives that achieve multi-million-pound savings.
* Strong progression record in procurement, buying, or strategic sourcing roles.
* Degree-qualified (or equivalent); CIPS certification preferred.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive change.
