We're looking for a talented Enterprise Architect to join our dynamic team of enterprise, business, and solution architects supporting the Education product group. You'll play a key role in shaping our future event-driven architectures using domain-driven design principles, translating business strategy into practical outcomes delivered through significant transformation programmes including Future Operating Model, Digital Assessment, Exam Processing Transformation, and Onboarding and Access.

About the role
As part of this role, you'll help define and evolve our architecture approach across the Education product groups and technology teams to deliver more joined up experience for our customers while providing greater flexibility in our backend services and platforms. This is a great opportunity to influence architectural direction and drive meaningful change at scale.
You will be joining a team of passionate enterprise, business and solution and architects with a common goal to support our UK and International Education product group strategies. The role includes:
1. Engaging with senior leaders across Education to understand their needs.
2. Leading architecture approach on significant programmes of work.
3. Collaborating with business architects to define change through the lens of domains and capabilities.
4. Designing reference architectures and supporting solution architects and product teams building platforms and services.
5. Contributing to shape and further develop our Enterprise Architecture practices.
About you
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who enjoys challenging the status quo and looking for innovative ways to solve complicated problems.
You need robust knowledge of the Education business domain and the evolving edtech market.
You will have strong communication and leadership skills to build trust with senior stakeholders across the Education product group and allow you to influence decision makers to endorse your ideas.
You will have experience of working in large scale transformation programmes with many competing objectives and complicated stakeholder motivations.
You will need a robust understanding of technical operating model design, business capabilities, event driven architecture design, data products, microservices and exposure to modern development techniques.
