IDART is a Perth and Kinross Health and Social Care Partnership multi-disciplinary community-based team which provides seamless support for individuals with drug and/or alcohol Issues.
The philosophy of care for IDART:
IDART believes that by providing a range of evidence-based treatments and interventions, targeted at a person’s specific and unique needs, will enable them to make informed and realistic decision regarding their Drug & Alcohol use.
The aim of IDART:
* To stop or reduce the intake of either Drug and Alcohol and prevent further harm, to either an individual, family member or community;
* To identify carers and offer support;
* To ensure harm reduction is offered to each individual at the point of contact;
* To create a Recovery Oriented System of Care that all can experience a positive experience;
* The service works on the basis of recovery which can be defined as an individual process;
* To reduce the number of non-fatal overdoses and Drug related deaths.
The Opportunity
To join a multi – skilled admin team providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the members of the integrated team. This post is currently based in Perth City.
This is an interesting and varied post. Applicants should possess excellent IT skills, interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of professionals and service users is essential. Post holder should have the ability to work under pressure and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
