Join OMS in 2025 as we seek event medical staff of all skill levels to work with us at exciting events across Gloucestershire, Bristol, and Wales.
We are looking for Paramedics, AAPs, IHCD techs, ECA, FREC 5s, 4s, and 3s, student paramedics, first aiders with AED training, medical gas training, and first responders.

Main duties of the job
Your responsibilities will include delivering pre-hospital patient care within your qualifications and clinical scope of practice at events.
You should maintain a friendly and positive approach, being proactive and professional at all times.
You will respond to emergency and non-emergency requests calmly and efficiently, following OMS policies, procedures, and protocols.

Job responsibilities
* Perform event medic duties within your clinical scope of practice.
* Work confidently both independently and as part of a team.
* Respond to requests calmly and assess injuries or illnesses to determine next steps.
* Complete all relevant paperwork, including PRFs and incident reports.
* Work cooperatively with patients, clients, and staff.
* Manage radio communications proficiently.
* Follow all OMS policies, procedures, and protocols.
* Maintain a friendly, proactive, and professional attitude.
* Show flexibility and positivity.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* We are recruiting staff at all levels, including:
* HCPC registered paramedics
* Emergency medical technicians (IHCD)
* Emergency Care Assistants
* First aiders with AED and medical gas qualifications
Proof of qualifications will be required.
Essential criteria for all candidates:
* Full driving license with no more than 3 penalty points (license check required)
* Enhanced DBS check
* References and work history
* Blue light driving qualification (desirable)
* Proof of CPD

Depending on experience, pay ranges from £12.50 to £22 per hour, based on grade and experience.
