Family Worker – Lisburn Sure Start
Job Purpose: The role will be to provide a support service to Tier 2 families with children aged 0‑3 years in a sensitive and non‑discriminatory manner, offering practical and emotional support to enable families to manage their daily lives with increased confidence and independence. This will be offered to families living within the Lisburn Sure Start catchment area.
Key responsibilities:
* Support parents to make informed decisions about their own and their children's needs.
* Develop strong partnership links with core services, community and statutory projects.
* Provide practical and emotional support to families.
Essential criteria:
* Minimum of QCF Level 3 Child Care qualification or equivalent (completed or working towards).
* Minimum of 1 year paid or unpaid working with children or families.
* GCSE English Language and Maths at Grade C or above.
* Clean driver’s licence and access to transport.
Benefits: Pension fund, sick pay.
Salary: £20,716.80 per annum.
Hours: Permanent – 30 hours per week.
Location: Lisburn, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom.
