As the Performance Insight Manager, you will be accountable for the overview and alignment of our operational performance in networks including its year-on-year improvement in line with our upcoming AMP8 objectives.
You will need to align with internal data teams as well as the different regional capabilities and front-line staff in the creation of a standardized view of performance across Leakage, Interruptions to Supply, CMEX and CRI.
You will be responsible for 2 FTE, and you will seek to develop strategies and methods to learn from failure, working with our frontline staff; implementing policies and procedures for the net benefit of the organization.
Accountabilities:
1. Manage a team of 2 FTE, building the team structure and procedures.
2. Familiarize, own and adopt business systems to enable analysis and delivery of learning outcomes.
3. Understand in depth our Outcome Delivery Incentive (ODI) deliverables.
4. Work through the organization, from senior management to front line staff.
5. Alongside the function, take part in and lead on the implementation of lean practices to deliver efficiency.
6. Quantify and dynamically assess organizational workflow.
Key skills/knowledge/qualifications/experience:
7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify root causes and recommend effective solutions.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, especially front-line staff, present findings, and drive improvement.
9. Good reporting capabilities, learning internal systems and mastering effective and efficient data production for a wide audience.
10. A sound working knowledge of ODIs and their impact financially.
11. Good leadership experience in reducing the consequence of interruptions to supply.
12. A good operational water network understanding.
This role requires a full valid UK drivers’ licence, you will be expected to travel to multiple sites across our region to fulfil your potential in this position!
