What does the role of Workshop Controller involve?
* Accounting for and managing Technicians time when working on jobs.
* Ensuring Job Card write up compliance with regards to OEM Warranty Procedures.
* Managing and improving workshop Productivity and Efficiency by allocating the correct jobs to the correctly skilled technician
* Identifying Technician Training Needs.
What do you need to succeed as a Workshop Controller?
* Proven experience within a service department in the motor industry
* An excellent understanding of systems and processes operated to within this environment
* A strong knowledge of Health and Safety
* Confident with dealing with people at all levels, be able to build an immediate rapport
* Excellent planning and organisational skills
* Comfortable in negotiating and influencing situations
* Lead by example to deliver an outstanding customer experience every time
