Your role
We’re looking for a skilled communications professional with a keen PR focus who cares about our work as a leading social housing provider. Our values are key to all that we do, and we are very proud of our One Team ethic. You will work with our senior leaders to craft insightful thought leadership and build relationships with stakeholders to strengthen the Group’s position as a leader in the North West. You will lead on exciting PR campaigns on issues that we care about, with a focus on corporate affairs and sector themes, while keeping our tenants at the heart of all that we do. Your experience with PR, media relations and crisis communications will enable you to handle press releases, media enquiries and press statements under pressure while building positive relationships with key partners and stakeholders. You will use your video editing and copywriting skills to tell our story in a compelling and creative way, whether writing tenant and technical case studies, or developing blogs and articles for our corporate audience. You will lead day-to-day management of our corporate social media channels, targeting different audiences, moderating engagement, and creating impactful content. You will also work with the team on behaviour change campaigns and support campaigns that help keep our tenants in safe and well-maintained homes, with opportunities to live full and independent lives.

What We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of PR and media to help amplify our corporate, tenant and employer brand. You will have a strong all-round communications skillset and enjoy working closely with our senior leadership team. You will be experienced in developing insightful PR campaigns and know how to develop a media statement under pressure. You will be welcomed into a supportive and friendly team with a creative, open and inclusive approach to collaborative working. This is a hybrid role with the requirement to work in our Leyland office on a regular basis and attend events and shoots in the Lancashire area. Equipment will be provided to work remotely on non-office days.
To Be Successful In This Role, You Should Have
