Together, we can amplify our efforts and pave the way for a more sustainable tomorrow. ​ What we’re looking for… We are delighted to be recruiting for a Talent Acquisition and Development Specialist to join our team to drive our talent acquisition and development initiatives. They will be responsible for developing and executing talent acquisition strategies to source, attract, and onboard the best talent into the business. The role also encompasses employee development in collaboration with our third-party training partners. This hybrid role requires a strategic thinker who can align recruitment processes with our organizational goals, while actively participating in talent development initiatives. If you are a pragmatic team player with great business acumen and a drive to deliver a people-oriented, high performance culture we would love to hear from you! ​ What you’ll be doing… ​ Talent Acquisition: Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent for varying roles, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and build comprehensive role profiles. Manage end-to-end recruitment processes including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding. Utilise various recruitment platforms including LinkedIn and job boards to proactively engage potential candidates. Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future opportunities. ​ Onboarding and Integration: Facilitate a seamless onboarding process for new hires, including preparation of offer letters, contracts, and conducting induction sessions. Ensure effective integration of new employees into the company culture, partnering with HR for ongoing support. ​ Talent Development : Partner with third-party training providers to enhance employee capabilities and support career development initiatives. Develop strategies for internal talent mobility and succession planning. Implement and manage a talent development framework, including apprenticeship and internal training programs. ​ Metrics and reporting: Track and report on recruitment and onboarding metrics to identify areas of improvement. Provide regular updates to senior management on recruitment progress and talent development initiatives. ​ Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with HR business partners, hiring managers, and external agencies. Act as a consultant to hiring managers, providing insights on market trends, recruitment best practices, and candidate experience. ​ Skills and Experience: Proven experience in recruitment and talent acquisition, preferably within IT, telecommunications, or related industries. Experience in talent development and working with third-party training providers. Strong understanding of recruitment metrics and ability to leverage data to drive decisions. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus with stakeholders. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
