About the Role
An exciting opening has arisen for a Fallen Stock Collector Driver – Class 2 to join our Fallen Stock Department at our F.D Statton & Son/SecAnim site in Cornwall. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to join an established, progressive, and sustainable company, that is committed to helping conserve natural resources and protecting the environment. In return we will offer you the opportunity to develop your existing skillset to fulfil your potential. This is a full time, permanent position working 45 hours p/wk, Monday to Friday (plus Saturday’s/BH’s when required).
Responsibilities
* Driving Class 2 vehicles/operating vehicle equipment.
* Undertaking vehicle checks/paperwork/housekeeping duties.
* Dispatching (kill) farm animals at customer premises.
* Use electronic PDA.
Qualifications
* Hold full UK Driving Licence (HGV Class C).
* Driver CPC completed.
* Hold a slaughter Licence/WATOK Licence, although training can be provided.
* Hold firearm certificate (beneficial).
* Agricultural/fallen stock background.
