We are seeking a solicitor to join a busy Personal Injury & Clinical Negligence team of a well-established, Lexcel-accredited law firm. Whether you're newly qualified or bring years of experience, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is committed to securing justice for claimants and achieving meaningful results.
You'll manage your own caseload of Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence matters, handling cases from initial instruction through to resolution and cost recovery. The work will include a variety of claims such as road traffic accidents, employer and public liability, and clinical negligence involving GPs, hospital trusts and dentists. You'll collaborate closely with the Head of Department and a knowledgeable team, all within a supportive and professional environment focused on delivering exceptional client care.
Responsibilities
1. Advise on and arrange funding for claims
2. Deliver clear, specialist guidance throughout each case
3. Prepare cases thoroughly, including evidence gathering, expert liaison and court documentation
4. Draft witness statements and legal correspondence
5. Manage costs and success fees, working with costs draftsmen where necessary
6. Build and manage strong client relationships
Requirements
7. Qualified Solicitor with experience in Personal Injury and/or Clinical Negligence (all levels welcome)
8. Excellent communication and organisational abilities
9. Confident in managing complex and sensitive cases with minimal supervision
10. Commercially minded with a strategic approach to case handling
