Positive Steps Specialist Care Services Ltd in Peterborough are looking for enthusiastic, dedicated, and reliable relief care workers to support our children & young adults within our homes. We require both day and night workers. Working in a residential home you will be part of a team, who are caring and compassionate in helping the service users who have learning difficulties and challenging behaviour.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITES
· Supporting the children & young adults to socialise
· Take part in activities
· Assist with dressing, bathing and mealtimes
· Support with education, health, and home visits
· Encourage independence
· Provide support in accordance with care and placement plans
CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION
· QCF/NVQ Level 3 (essential) or the ability to complete this after a probationary period
· A full driving licence (desirable but not essential)
· Experience of working with Children
· Flexibility with shifts
· Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
