Job Title: Principal Product Safety Engineer
Location: Frimley, Weymouth, Bristol, Portsmouth, Barrow-in-Furness, Plymouth or Brough, dependant on role and your personal circumstances. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

What you'll be doing:
* Providing advice on product safety matters to project and engineering managers delivering the programmes and ensuring the safety considerations are correctly considered and implemented
* Engaging with third parties, to review and gather supporting safety case evidence
* Developing safety arguments, both physical and functional, using appropriate safety analysis methods, producing and updating safety case and safety management documentation using appropriate regulations and standards
* Line managing other safety practitioners
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
* Safety engineering processes, practices and tools
* Clear understanding of safety engineering & assurance principals
* Experience and qualified engineers from other disciplines who display the correct behaviours and have an understanding of safety engineering, will actively be considered for this role
