The Role
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in the day‑to‑day care and development of the children living at Dan Y Coed in Swansea. Working closely with a skilled team, you will ensure each child feels safe, respected, and empowered.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Providing personalised care, emotional support, and daily guidance
2. Supporting education, routines, and structured activities
3. Promoting independence and positive behaviour
4. Encouraging community engagement within Swansea
5. Following individual care plans and safeguarding procedures
6. Working collaboratively with colleagues and senior staff
