Your new role and team
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for your own projects, undertake detailed designs to high standards, and maintain excellent client service. You will be part of an innovative, collaborative team with a strong focus on technical delivery and client care. Your key responsibilities will be:
* Take responsibility for your project tasks while collaborating with the team
* Deliver high-quality, sustainable design solutions and supervise others
* Manage project timelines to meet deadlines
* Represent Ramboll at external client meetings
* Mentor and develop junior team members
About you
We support your personal and professional growth from day one. To succeed in this role, you should have:
* A qualified engineering degree with demonstrable experience
* An honours degree accredited by CIBSE, IET, or IMechE, or an HNC with a commitment to further education
* Achieved or working towards IEng or CEng status
* Technical expertise in building services systems, especially mechanical systems
* An understanding of how building services contribute to high-performing, low-carbon buildings
* Experience guiding graduates and technicians in design engineering
* Experience in Building Services Design, site surveys, inspections, snagging, and client meetings
* Experience across sectors like Residential, Commercial, or large-scale developments (desirable)
