Haven Vets are looking for an experienced Small Animal Vet who has experience with both surgery and consultations. Working at our first opinion practice in Great Yarmouth, you will have autonomy in your role to make a difference to your team and the client journey.
Responsibilities
* Lead by example with energy, enthusiasm, confidence and professionalism; share this with the team and clients.
* Support and promote development in fellow vets; coach and develop colleagues in routine surgeries and dental procedures.
* Collaborate with the practice director and veterinary team lead to deliver a high level of service to clients and patients.
* Provide leadership within the practice and contribute to ongoing clinical projects and team growth.
Requirements and expectations
This is a full-time position, with flexible working considered. Will provide opportunities for progression, CPD and funded certificates. Leadership training available to help you support colleagues and fulfill your potential. You will be supported by the Practice Director, Veterinary Team Leader, Head Nurse and Head Receptionist, with backing from a larger regional network and the RCVS Accredited hospital and OOH centre less than a mile away.
The next 12 months will be an exciting journey as Haven grows its clinical projects, team growth and nurses’ roles in schedule 3 and clinical procedures. The practice is equipped with orthopaedic kit, dental X-ray, radiography, ultrasound, in-house laboratory analysers, multi-parameter monitors, endoscopy and laparoscopy facilities at a local site.
