Hours: 6 hours term time and up to 16 hours holiday time Area: Kenton, Newcastle upon Tyne Rate: £14.00 per hour Our son Brandon is 17-years old and is a lovely bubbly lad who loves a bit of toilet humour. He’s in a wheelchair. Brandon loves gaming and going out to socialize. For example, going to the cinema although not the pub. We are looking for someone to support him while working as a cafe host at Cafe Beam at Ouseburn Farm on Saturdays from 9am until 12.30pm. School holidays cover also on a Wednesday. They will need to help assist him with personal care when required. His job at the cafe is to welcome customers and help take them to their table. The person we are looking for must be able to manage a wheelchair while using public transport. Ideally Brandon would like a PA who is enthusiastic with a genuine interest and enjoyment in working with young people. The purpose of this job will be to provide him with social assistance and assist him in achieving his goals, always ensuring his safety.
