We're seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager to join our award-winning team of passionate Facilities Management (FM) professionals. If you have a positive, can-do attitude, a solid background in FM and customer service, and excel under pressure, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. While experience in the Higher Education sector is advantageous, it's not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Our ambition is to set the standard for exemplary services both within and beyond the university sector. As part of the Facilities Management team, the Assistant Facilities Manager will:
* Deliver professional, customer-focused, compliant, and cost-effective FM services that align with the university's objectives.
* Oversee operations across approximately 70,000 sq. meters, ensuring optimal staffing and resource allocation.
* Apply HR policies and procedures consistently across their areas of responsibility.
* Manage relevant contracted services and collaborate with other managers to ensure a seamless, high-quality customer experience.
* Assist and, when necessary, deputise for a Facilities Manager while supporting other FM-related tasks.

* A strong background in Facilities Management and customer service.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
* A proactive attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional services.
Role Details:
* Contract Type: Permanent
* Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (with flexibility, including occasional weekend support as required).
