As a Chartered Valuation Surveyor, your responsibilities will include valuations, negotiations, and property-related advice. You will manage large caseloads, undertake site inspections, oversee quality assurance, and represent the Valuation Office Agency at tribunals.
You will provide technical valuation and property advice to clients, manage your caseload effectively, and ensure quality work delivery. Additional responsibilities include:
* Identifying, escalating, mitigating, or managing risks and issues.
* Providing property valuation advice to support local and national taxation.
* Appearing at Valuation Tribunal and potentially the Upper Tribunal (Lands Chamber).
* Acting as the Lead Valuer, offering technical and valuation guidance to colleagues.
* Marketing sector-specific services and maintaining client relationships.
* Providing quotes to clients and recording time accurately for billing.
* Supporting and developing trainee surveyors through their APC journey and coaching peers.
