Morgan Hunt are looking for skilled and dependable Plumbers to join a Housing Maintenance team within a large local authority. This role involves working across a variety of residential properties, including void (empty) homes and tenanted properties, delivering high-quality plumbing and maintenance services. Key Responsibilities: Carry out all aspects of plumbing work, including installation, repairs, and maintenance Prepare and complete plumbing works in void properties ready for new tenants Undertake responsive and planned maintenance in occupied homes Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs to a high standard Work on systems including pipework, bathrooms, kitchens, and heating systems (basic) Ensure all work complies with relevant regulations and health & safety standards Provide a professional and customer-focused service in tenanted properties Accurately record work completed and materials used Requirements: Proven experience as a Plumber, ideally within social housing or maintenance Relevant plumbing qualifications (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent) Ability to carry out a wide range of plumbing tasks independently Full UK driving licence (van provided for work use) Good understanding of health and safety practices Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Good communication and customer service skills What's On Offer: Competitive pay at £24.50 per hour 38-hour working week Company van provided for work purposes Stable, ongoing work within a large local authority Opportunity to make a positive impact on local housing and communities If you are a qualified plumber looking for consistent work in a rewarding environment, we encourage you to apply.
