Due to sustained growth and an exciting pipeline of new projects, they are now looking to hire a driven Commercial Finance Analyst (Part-Qualified) to join their collaborative finance team.
Role
The Commercial Finance Analyst will work closely with the Finance Business Partner and other internal stakeholders to support the delivery of financial insights and improve commercial performance across the agency. This role will take on a number of key duties including:
Assist in preparing regular commercial performance reports, including revenue trends, project activity, and client profitability
Work alongside client services teams to ensure accurate setup of new projects and data input across systems
Take ownership of weekly team capacity reporting to monitor work flow and resource planning
Support with ongoing financial tracking of sales leads and pipeline performance
Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes, particularly around project revenue
Analyse revenue data to identify performance trends and commercial opportunities
Help maintain accurate records in the finance system
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure financial records are reflected accurately
Support ad hoc commercial analysis and reporting requests from senior stakeholders
Play a key role in preparing content for quarterly board presentations and monthly commercial review packs
Identify opportunities to improve financial systems, processes and reporting workflows
Profile
The ideal candidate for this Commercial Finance Analyst position, based in central London, should have the following attributes:
2+ year's experience in a finance role, preferably in a creative/agency environment
Strong commercial acumen and analytical mindset
Excellent Excel skills and confidence working with data
Experience working with non-finance stakeholders
Actively studying towards ACCA/CIMA
Clear communication skills and ability to influence
A proactive attitude and willingness to challenge and improve processes
Salary & Benefits
£40,000 to £45,000 plus benefits including:
