We are looking for a highly motivated Construction Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a results-oriented professional to play a key role in all aspects of project cost management, from pre-construction to completion. As the sole Quantity Surveyor on the team, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire cost control process for both large-scale and smaller projects.


Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Quantity Surveyor at IMKO located in Sunbury-on-Thames, allowing for some work from home. The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for cost control, BOQ preparation, cost management, planning, and reporting in construction projects.


Responsibilities:

1. Conduct thorough cost analysis for construction projects and provide accurate estimates.
2. Manage sub-contract and material procurement, ensuring competitive pricing and adherence to quality standards.
3. Collaborate closely with project teams to monitor project progress, proactively identifying and resolving cost-related issues.
4. Prepare and present valuations of variations and claims to clients.
